Settlement Development
The Town of Bük is one of the 17 settlements which are members of the Settlement Development Association of the Upper Répce Region. Due to its regional role and its being as an attraction pole, it fulfils the duties of a micro-regional centre in cooperation with Csepreg.

Within the micro-region, Bük plays in the fields of tourism, especially of medical tourism as well as in the field of medicine (medical services, ambulance station) an important role that must be extended and improved so that our settlement becomes more attractive not only in the region but also outside this area.

It can be expected that after the reform of the public administration micro-regions and regional organisations may be regarded as more important, that is why it is necessary to strengthen our position.
